SERDANG, 26 February 2026 – UTMXCITE led a delegation of students from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Johor Bahru and UTM Kuala Lumpur to attend the Opening Ceremony of the ASEAN University Cashflow Challenge (AUCC) 2026, held at the Sultan Abdul Samad Library, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).
The programme was organised in conjunction with the visit of renowned entrepreneur and author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, Robert Kiyosaki. The event gathered university students from across the ASEAN region to participate in the Cashflow Gameboard competition, an interactive financial simulation designed to enhance financial literacy, strategic thinking, and informed financial decision-making skills.
Through gameplay and structured engagement, participants were exposed to real-world financial concepts such as asset management, investment strategies, risk assessment, and wealth-building principles. The initiative aims to cultivate financially literate graduates who are better prepared to navigate economic challenges in an increasingly competitive global landscape.
UTM’s participation reflects the university’s continuous commitment to strengthening entrepreneurial mindset and financial awareness among its students. By providing exposure to international platforms such as AUCC 2026, UTMXCITE reinforces its role in nurturing well-rounded, future-ready graduates equipped with practical financial knowledge and strategic competencies.
It is hoped that the insights and experience gained from this programme will inspire participating students to apply sound financial principles in both their personal and professional journeys.
